DESCRIPTION:Water is the most abundant molecule on the surface of the Earth\, and essential for life as we know it. It makes up around 60% of the human body\, and up to 90% in other organisms. But this ubiquity is no coincidence\, because chemical reactions of the kind necessary for supporting life are only possible because of water’s unique physicochemical characteristics.
