Mining the asteroids

Often referred to as “the goldmine in the sky” the 2,000 asteroids that approach Earth due to their eccentric orbit are already being investigated and plans being made to mine them for their metals. At 11am UK on September 6th we looked at and discussed some of the possibilities and pitfalls.
