We’re often told that new battery technology uses exotic minerals, of which there is only a very limited supply on this planet. Surely not enough to manufacture all the batteries that we want for cars, homes and electricity grids. Is this true or is this another ‘smoke screen’ employed by the fossil fuel industry?
