mRNA: One-hit Wonder or the Ultimate Magic Bullet?

Messenger RNA (mRNA) was pivotal to the rapid development and rollout of the Covid vaccine, which has now, thankfully, brought the pandemic to an end. But the mRNA story may be only just beginning. mRNA technology also has great potential in the treatment of other medical conditions, including many types of cancer, which are difficult to treat using current methods. In this talk, Peter explained what mRNA is, how it works, and the status of some of the many research projects currently ongoing, that could transform our lives.
