This is the followup post to the on-line meeting containing the materials used.
This week we have two security related videos to watch, both by Tom Scott. In the first video Tom discusses end-to-end encryption on messaging apps such as Signal, WhatsApp and iMessage and includes why governments want to insert backdoors. In the second video Tom attempts to create an honest commercial for a fictional VPN service and teases out when VPNs are really useful. Plenty of time is reserved for group questions, comments and discussions.
