We know microbes can be pretty nasty, but you probably don’t know the half of it. Some microbes have evolved to manipulate the behaviour of their hosts in ways that increase their own chances of survival and transmission.

Robin May will use some pretty horrid examples of microbes altering the behaviour of their hosts and then leads us on to the possibilities that exist within the human microbiome.

Scary stuff, but his presentation is very jocular and entertaining.
