The ‘One Health’ Concept

The ‘One Health’ concept, a global initiative developed over the last 20 years, involving a wide range of scientific disciplines and approaches, seeks to integrate human and veterinary medicine, food, wildlife, and environmental considerations to solve both long-standing and emerging global health issues. In this talk, Diane Newell, from Test Villages u3a, will explain the concept, with particular reference to Covid-19, avian flu, and AMR (antibiotic microbial resistance).
