The Prince Philip Movement – Three Hundred Years of History!

When HRH Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, died just two months short of his hundredth birthday, nowhere was his loss more deeply felt than on a small island in the southern Pacific Ocean, where he was revered not just as the Queen’s consort, but as a living god. In this talk, Barry Zussman will reveal the surprisingly long history of what’s commonly known as ‘The Prince Philip Movement’. It’s a centuries-old story of colonisation, indoctrination, and exploitation of a native people, living simple lives, struggling to come to terms with a changing world, and the ulterior motives of successive waves of foreign intruders.
